With so many of us on the go and working remotely, it’s no surprise that the #1 request we get from small business owners who enable employees to track time, is to offer time tracking on mobile. So, Intuit® created a new and exciting mobile time tracking experience to simplify the process and make your business more productive.
This is a change for more than 170,000 time-tracking-only-QuickBooks Online (QBO) customers worldwide. Time tracking will still be fast and easy, but it will now sport a fresher appearance that takes on the QBO look and feel you’re accustomed to.
We’ve updated the look and feel, and usability of employee time tracking for QBO users primarily interested in this feature, providing a more responsive experience. It also gives you the ability to log in from any mobile device anywhere, anytime.
In addition, time-tracking employees can submit weekly timesheets, enter single time activities and make time entries billable to a specific customer. A summary report of time activities is also available.
Here’s another benefit for small business owners. Unlike other QBO roles, such as “company admin” or “customer & sales,” time-tracking-only users are non-billable, so small business owners can add as many time trackers as they need to run their business!
